One of my favorite parts of Mattie & Alex’s story is Alex’s pick-up line he used on Mattie. Not that it was cheesy or funny, but he literally just walked right up to her and told her she was the most beautiful girl in the world. What?! We all dream of this right?! And it wasn’t until chasing after her for 2 years that she started to chase him back and look where we are now - these two are getting married next June at the Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum here in Knoxville. Eek!Read More
Phebe & Brad literally had me laughing the whole time we were together during their engagement session at the Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum! These two seem like the best best friends and I would third wheel with them any day.Read More
Eeee this engagement session at Sequoyah Hills here in Knoxville, Tennessee with Alexa and Tom was absolutely perfect! All sunshine, sunflowers, and smiles! I’m finding this common denominator between all of my clients and it’s this - they are all so easy to be around, so our shoots just feel so fun & easy breezy. Enjoy a little glimpse of their happy, sunshine session at Sequoyah Hills! xoxo, SuzyRead More
Cameron & Sung are just about the smiliest couple you’ve ever met! They are smitten with one another and it’s so refreshing to be around. I loved capturing their engagement photos, Cameron’s bridal portraits, and finally, their wedding day!
They wanted their wedding day to feel intimate, sweet, worshipful, fun, joyful, and peaceful. And somehow it was all those things wrapped into one. They got married in Old North Abbey’s church and celebrated with their friends & family at the Knoxville Botanical Garden. A March wedding in Knoxville could go a lot of different directions weather-wise, but their day was sunny and warm, just like them!
Some of my favorite moments were when Cameron & Sung saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, serving their guests communion one-by-one in their ceremony, when they bowed to their parents before walking back up the aisle together as husband and wife (a traditional Korean sign of respect), and all the fun dancing at the reception!
I hope you enjoy reliving a little bit of their day through these photos! xo, Suzy
