A Season of Expectation
Picking out names, designing the nursery, imagining what life will be like as a family of 3… pregnancy is such a beautiful season of waiting. At times, you might wish it could speed up or slow down, based on what’s going on in your world during that season. But regardless, it’s so fun to imagine & wonder & dream of all that is to come. You don’t know just exactly how, but you know that life is going to change when baby arrives & it’s so sweet to think about.
It was so fun to photograph these darling friends and expecting parents as they welcome their first baby girl this summer. The joy just overflowed from them as they talked about all that is to come and mama was absolutely glowing.
In a season where our body is changing & we often can feel out of control of what’s happening to us, I love getting to slow things down and document the beautiful season of pregnancy through photography. It doesn’t always feel beautiful in the moment, but it is my goal to reflect back to you the many ways that it is through photos. Thank you for that privilege!
