I absolutely loved this fall photo session with Chris & Jordan up on Max Patch mountain near Asheville, NC. I have made many a drive to shoot here and it is always well worth it. No matter what the season, it is a gorgeous landscape with incredible views.
What to Wear for an Engagement Shoot
One quick tip that you can take from Chris and Jordan is this:
If you want more of a lifestyle look - pick an outfit that matches your setting. Their first outfit of jeans and sweaters definitely flowed well with the outdoor vibe for a playful, casual, and lighthearted look.
If you want something more editorial - dress in something that doesn’t match your setting. The reason these photos feel so freaking vogue is because Jordan is wearing a killer dress and heels on a mountain top!!! I freakin love it.

Max Patch doesn’t disappoint during any season of the year, but especially not during the summer. Cool, crisp mountain air, tall & wispy grass, yellow flowers blooming all over the mountain top, & the most beautiful pink sunset made this engagement session one for the books.
