This lady has hustled hard to created an incredible business. Over the past few years, Megan (the beauty & brains behind Pineapple) has poured her heart into hosting curated sales of quality home goods and a creating a shopping experience that will leave you filled with joy! I was giddy when Megan reached out to book her branding session. As a small business owner & entrepreneur, I love to celebrate other women owned & run businesses (especially Knoxville based). Your brand and your story matters because at the end of the day, your customers put their trust in you & your ideas. I believe it’s crucial to show them who you are through professional photos. By outsourcing your photography needs, you are able to focus on the things that are most important to you & your business.
We were able to incorporate her home decor in fun and playful ways to add some creativity to Megan’s branding session. The way her home is styled and curated, invites her followers and customers to get a feel for her brand.
During our branding session, we were graced with some stunning mid-day sunlight and shadows that brought her space to life. Fresh flowers, layers of texture, and beautiful color palettes brought these photos to the next level. My goal was to capture Megan’s personality along with her gift for styling and design. She chose two looks for her session- a casual laid back look, and an elegant and feminine outfit. Having photos taken with more than one outfit, creates a greater versatility for your photos and how you can use them.
I love branding photo sessions for so many reasons (can you tell!). One reason I am passionate about them is because I know how important it is to have high quality images you’re proud of to use on your website, social media, and printed marketing materials. Another reason I love branding sessions for entrepreneurs especially, is because when you are a hard working small biz owner, you probably don’t take many pauses to reflect & celebrate what you’ve accomplished. Delivering a photo gallery after a branding session is such a big deal to me, and I hope my branding clients feel the LOVE when scroll through their gallery. I hope it shows them just how far they’ve come.
While photographing this branding session, it was so obvious to me that as a small business owner, Megan, was acutely tuned in the vision and heartbeat of Pineapple Consignment. These photos are complimentary of the brand she has worked hard to create and continually develop and sustain over the past few years. As your photographer, I ask lots of questions and use your answers to guide and create a vision during your branding session.
As for Megan’s merch- I am a fan! Seriously, how cute are these? I can’t decide which one I like best - so one of each will do the trick. These simple & fun t-shirts are the best. Just like Pineapple' Consignment’s online presence, social media, and branding - it’s fun and lively without being complicated or overwhelming.
